Tips settlement rules

All accepted tips are being settled automatically based on the final results and in accordance with the rules of our odds provider Pinnaclesports. Here, you can read the shortened version of the applicable rules.

American Football

aflMinimum Time for Action:

For the settlement of tips, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime), provided that the game has gone at least 55 minutes. If a game is suspended after 55 minutes and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game is halted will be used for the settlement. If the play is suspended before the completion of 55 minutes and not resumed the same day, all tips on the full game will be settled as "push".

Additional Rules:

The settlement of all tips will be according the final score (including overtime). Unless noted before the contest, as long as the event is played on the scheduled day, all tips will remain valid. In addition, if inclement weather (or similar delay) pushes the start time past midnight local time, but the game is still played, then all tips will remain valid as well. If the game is rescheduled, all tips will be settled as “push”.

Las Vegas settlement rules will apply to any situations not covered herein.

If an event venue is changed, all tips on the event will be settled as “push”.

Baseball

baseballMoney-line tips on baseball will be accepted in the following manner:

Action - team against team, regardless of the starting pitchers. When listed pitchers are offered and there is a pitching change prior to the game, the moneyline will be re-adjusted and "action" tips will be graded using the opening price for the new pitcher.

Listed Pitchers - if both starting pitchers are not as specified at the time of the tip, the tip will be settled as “push”.

One Listed Pitcher - this is a tip on or against one specified pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. If the specified pitcher does not start, the tip will be settled as “push”.

Treatment of pitching changes

When listed pitchers are offered, tips on total runs (over/under), Run Line (handicap) and Alternate Run Line (alternate handicap) will be settled as “push” if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.

A pitcher is deemed a starter after throwing the first pitch to the opponent's first batter.

Treatment for date or venue change

If an event is not played on its scheduled date all tips on the event will be settled as “push”.

If an event venue is changed, all tips on the event will be settled as “push”.

Treatment if event does not come to its natural conclusion

If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Tips will be settled as “push” if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.

If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.

In the case of a suspended playoff game that will be resumed in a span of 96 hours after its suspension, all tips will remain valid and will be graded after the completion of the game. If the game is not completed within the 96 hours following the time of suspension, then all tips will be settled as “push”.

Minimum time (length of event) needed for action

The result of a game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. When placing tips on either runlines, total runs (over/under)  the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action.

Basketball

If an event is not played on its scheduled date all tips on the event will be settled as “push”.

If an event venue is changed, all tips on the event will be settled as “push”.

Treatment if event does not come to its natural conclusion

If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all tips on the event will be settled as “push”.

Minimum time (length of event) needed for action

All competitions/leagues except the NBA must go at least 35 minutes for action unless otherwise specified.

NBA games must go at least 43 minutes to be valid.

Treatment for overtime

The settlement of all tips will be according the final score that will include any overtime that may occur.

Hockey

hokeyUnless otherwise stated, all tips are settled according to the result of the regular time ONLY and do NOT include either overtime or penalty shootouts.

If a line includes overtime, it will be stated in the odds’ offer and clearly written on the ticket.

Penalty Shootouts are expressly considered part of overtime. If a Penalty Shootout is contested, the winner will be credited with an extra goal. It means that one goal will be added to the result of the regular time and so corrected result will be used for the settlement of the tips.

Minimum time for action

Games must go a minimum of 55 minutes to be valid. If a game is suspended before 55 complete minutes are played, all tips on the outcome of the game will be settled as “push”.

Soccer

soccerSoccer kickoff dates and times displayed on our website are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. If a match does not start as scheduled, and does not start the same day (local time of the match site) then tips on the match will be settled as “push”.

Tips will be decided on games with two halves scheduled for 45 minutes each and any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. It does not include periods of extra time nor penalty shootouts. Occasionally, tournaments, friendlies, or other matches may have time frames different than two 45 minute halves. If this special playing time is not announced on our website before the start of the game, all tips will be settled as “push”. If in a game scheduled for two halves of 45 minutes each, a referee ends the game with an official result with what appears to be a time different than 2 halves of 45 minutes each, tips will remain valid. If a referee declares a game abandoned for any reason, tips will be settled as “push”.

If a match is suspended before full time is reached, and not completed the same day, (local time of the match site) tips on the outcome of the match will be settled as “push”.

Overs/Unders: A match must reach full time for tips on the total number of goals scored in the match to be valid.

Tennis

tennisRetirement or Disqualification:

  1. Head to Head Matchups:

One full set must be completed for Money Line tips to stand. If less than 1 set is completed, all Money Line tips will be settled as “push”. The winner of the match is the participant declared the victor by the umpire of the match.

If a player retires before the 1st set is completed, all tips on the match will be settled as “push”.

  1. Sets’ line:

If a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all tips on the sets’ line will be settled as “push”.

  1. Handicap and Total Games Tips:

If a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all Handicap and Total Game tips will be settled as “push”, regardless of the score of the match.

Delay or Suspension:

If a tennis match is completed, without retirement or disqualification, all tips stand as written. A delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of tips, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed.

Change of Venue or Playing Surface:

All tips stand regardless of any change of venue, court surface, changing from indoors to outdoors and vice versa.
